Andrew Smith, MD, is a cardiologist dedicated to providing comprehensive heart care with a focus on prevention, diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree from LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. 

Dr. Smith is board certified in internal medicine and has experience caring for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. During his fellowship, he was recognized as Fellow of the Year for his commitment to patient care, education and teamwork. He is passionate about helping patients improve their heart health through personalized, evidence-based care.
