About The Provider
Dana Vines, NP, received her associate of science in nursing from Louisiana Tech University. She completed her bachelor of science in nursing from Northwestern State University. She then served in the United States Air Force. After her time on active duty, Dana earned her master of science in nursing from the University of South Alabama College of Nursing in women's health and earned the Excellence in Practice Award for the College of Nursing. She completed her OB-GYN internship at LSU Health Sciences Center and Northwest Coalition. She gained her post-master’s family nurse practitioner certification from Frontier Nursing University to further expand her knowledge to provide better care of her patients. She has served the women of northwest Louisiana for 14 years meeting their obstetrical and gynecological needs. She is a mother of two daughters and three beautiful grandchildren and enjoys spending time with her family and making crafts.

I would recommend Mrs. Dana to anyone who is pregnant and needing prenatal care. From the very first visit, I knew I was in good hands. She is informative, patient, kind, and made me feel comfortable at every visit in one of the most vulnerable times of my life. She addressed every concern I had and came up with solutions that solved any issues I was having physically and mentally. There was a big hiccup right at the end of my pregnancy, and she actually held me while I cried and took extra time to ease my mind at a troubling time. I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Dana!! She is without a doubt a huge asset to the Healthy Moms clinic.
