Jose Matos Urena, MD, received his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is an internal medicine physician who completed his first year of training at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He subsequently completed his second and third years of residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center/Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and Portuguese.
