Nidhi Relhan Batra, MD, earned her medical degree from Government Medical College, Chandigarh in India, where she also completed her Ophthalmology residency. Dr. Batra completed her Surgical Retina Fellowship at the L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad (2011) and Medical Retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute- Anne Bates Leach Eye Hospital, Miami, Florida (2018). She also completed her second Ophthalmology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans (2022). 

Dr. Batra is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in diagnosing and managing vitreo-retinal eye diseases, including uveitis, macular degeneration, retinal tear/detachment, diabetic retinopathy, and various other retinal disorders.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Batra is also an active researcher in the field of Ophthalmology. She has over 50 peer reviewed publications with over 1600 citations. She has co-authored a book titled "Endophthalmitis In Clinical Practice" (Springer publication).
